We provide you with a truly unique vacation to strengthen your family bonds.  We meld guided sailing adventures with family and individual support to create a memorable vacation of growth and re-connection. Our goal is for your family to enjoy time away from the distractions of typical day-to-day life .  We weave relationship-building and skill-building through sailing seamlessly into an exotic vacation of white sand beaches and crystal blue waters.  Our attention to family dynamics will ensure that your trip is a powerful step toward openness and cohesion. We believe that sailing can be a catalyst for your family to re-discover the amazing capability of being together.

WHAT WE OFFER

We work in partnership with The Moorings to offer family vacations on luxury catamarans and monohulls.  The Moorings are world renowned with a fleet of yachts each outfitted with all the gear and protection you’ll need to ensure a safe, comfortable and fun cruise. We provide an all inclusive service that begins before you leave so you can start your vacation right away.  

Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Customized sailing vacations
  • Licensed Captain
  • Adventure and Fun: there is so much to do! Activities include paddle boarding, scuba diving, snorkeling, island exploration, or just good old fashioned relaxation.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages are provided on the boat.  Dinners will be made by the group or the opportunity to eat local fare and one of the many restaurants situated through the islands.
  • Travel Assistance

Once you arrive on Tortola transportation will be provided to the Moorings Yacht Club for your first night in the Caribbean.  All trips start with a safety meeting at the Moorings after which a fully stocked boat will be ready for your departure.  

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Chartered sailing vacations are nothing new to the British Virgin Islands.  While we believe in the ethos of fun in the sun, we also know that time together as a family can get strained. Our sailing vacations are designed to support healthy family dynamics through experiential learning, team building activities, and fun. Part of each day is given to group discussion to bond or address any issues that may be arising.  

Support we provide:

  • Teamwork and Growth: Work together with our crew to set goals for the trip, earn your sea legs, and master the subtleties of boat life in a tropical setting.
  • Sailing Lessons: Individuals are taught terminology, technique, and are supported through out the day.
  • Daily opportunities for check ins and de briefing
  • Ownership: the opportunity to complete a sail from setting the course to mooring the boat with minimal instruction or intervention from the staff. 
  • Years of experience working with adolescents and families in non traditional settings
